Our Black Bear named Binx is a small bear with black fur with golden tan snout and feet. Black Bear is a member of the eight inch range of build anywhere bears. Black Bear is a member of the black bear species from Pennsylvania, USA, a north-eastern state which was one of the thirteen original U.S. colonies. Pennsylvania has a diverse and varied terrain, including national forests and mountains, the ideal habitat for Black Bear to roam and have fun. Pennsylvania is also where bubble gum (chewing gum) was first invented, a very interesting fact! Up to 85% of the Black Bear's diet consists of vegetation, but when not eating plants and shoots Black Bear likes to snack on honey, a very sweet treat for black bears.
