Is that a bear at Aber Falls?

October 24, 2018 Ted Bear

Was it a trick of the light that gave us a fright,
Or was it really a bear in his rocky lair?
But whatever the camera caught,
Has given us "paws" for thought!

A photograph taken yesterday at the mysterious Aber Falls not far from us in North Wales. Do you see the bear face in the image? Or do you see something else? Leave us a comment below and let us know!

Aber Falls

Aber Falls or Rhaeadr Fawr as it's known to the Welsh is a magnificent waterfall which is located roughly two miles south of the village of Abergwyngregyn in North Wales. The Aber Falls waterfall is formed when the Afon Goch plunges over a sill of igneous rock in the foothills of the Carneddau range. Visitors walking along the main footpath towards Aber Falls may spot several Bronze Age settlements including an excavated roundhouse and smithy fenced off with an information plaque adorning it. There are also several standing stones and cairns also present along the footpath.
