Ellie has soft grey fur and big blue eyes as well as very large ears! Ellie Elephant is a member of the sixteen inch range of build anywhere animals from Be My Bear. African Elephants are currently found in 37 different countries in Africa and the most notable difference between African Elephants and Asian Elephants is that African Elephants have much larger ears. Ellie Elephant spends up to 16 hours of her day eating plants because she is a herbivorous mammal meaning that she eats a diet consisting of only plants. She enjoys eating a variety of plant life including leaves, bark, fruit and shrubs as well as grass and herbs.
